Medalholders are elegantly designed products
thought up by Robin Sanderson for displaying medals on parade
or at dinner while avoiding the need to make holes in an overcoat or jacket.
The pin of the mounted medals is simply inserted into the cylinder/s on
the top of the rigid shield which is then slipped securely into the breast
pocket with the medals lying neatly outside the pocket.
This original full-size Medalholder was invented and
produced by J and A Sanderson. It has been sold to regiments and museums
throughout the UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. It was
designed to hold full size medals. The two cylinders on the top edge are
4cm apart and will accommodate a number of medals. (Packing tubes are
available on request for different sized pins).
The new miniature Medalholder is a smaller version,
measuring 9.1 x 6.2 x 3 cm, for wearing miniature medals with a dinner
jacket or blazer.
(Please note the standard miniature holder is designed to hold three
miniature medals. Please specify if you wish a holder for only one or
two medals and we can easily provide a modified version with a reduced
size top cylinder to fit these medal pins.) |
